“All donations collected through the COVID-19 CARE Fund will be allocated to agencies who are best positioned to help with on-going COVID-related issues,” said Kristin Roberts, UWECI’s President & CEO.
These shirts were first unveiled during Linn County’s Nurses Week recognition. Supervisor Stacey Walker (Linn County), Mayor Brad Hart (Cedar Rapids) and Mayor Nick AbouAssaly (Marion) wore the shirts during a Linn County Public Health COVID-19 Response press conference to pay tribute to all Linn County nurses.

The shirts are available until July 22 and come in several colors and sizes. The campaign also includes sweatshirts, hoodies, vinyl decals, and koozies.
“Our goal was to honor nurses, but now we can honor all the heroes who make us all fear less in these trouble times,” said Walker.
