Many people in East Central Iowa are needing assistance for the first time due to the coronavirus pandemic. This event has triggered many families to seek help for resources, from finding food to paying bills that they have never had to access.

Linn Area Partners in Disaster (LAP-AID), a community collaboration, has created a COVID-19 Action Resource sheet for individuals in our community. This sheet contains information of many area organizations that are helping people who are experiencing challenges due to COVID-19. Information on the sheet ranges from how to find unemployment assistance and transportation, to who to contact about paying bills.

As the pandemic continues, LAP-AID will continue to spearhead resources and initiatives for members of our community who need them. More information and updates about COVID-19 can be found here.
