You may remember Week of Thanks from past years. This year, we’re switching gears and celebrating Month of Love. Why, you ask? Because we want to celebrate the great actions you do all month long!
Over the last year, we broke barriers to make services more accessible. We fought harder than ever for the education, health, and financial stability of everyone in our community. With your help, and the dedication of our 23 funded partners, we continue to work tirelessly to break the cycle of poverty.
Your consistent support has been the backbone of UWECI and our ability to support life-changing initiatives in our community. In 2019, you helped us…
- Donate $1.4 million in volunteer time to local nonprofits by 3,269 people
- Provide 12,895 healthcare services to un- or under-insured women
- Answer 34,583 calls to United Way 2-1-1
- Provide $3.8 million in tax refunds through VITA
